Synopsis

Jillian est une adolescente à problèmes. Lorsque sa mère, une toxicomane, est arrêtée et envoyée en cure de désintoxication, Jillian est recueillie par la famille de sa meilleure amie, Mélanie. Des jours meilleurs s'annoncent mais la maladie de son amie s'aggrave : Mélanie est atteinte de lymphangiectasie. Peu de temps avant de décéder, elle fait promettre à Jillian de prendre soin de sa petite soeur qui risque elle aussi de souffrir de cette même maladie. Bientôt, Jillian commence à douter : la mère des deux filles aurait-elle un rôle à jouer dans cette macabre histoire
